Faith & Reason Ministries was founded to provide a safe & family friendly place of genuine answers about God and the Bible. We meet weekly on Sunday in Sutherlin just as the original disciples went to the temple and the local synagogues.
 
At Faith & Reason we seek to engage people in a conversational style sermon as much as possible, anticipating questions that may come up if possible. Our goal is to help people fall in love with God and His Word, the Truth, all over again each time we open Scripture together. To worship Him with their Mind, Soul, and Heart. We desire people to see the Truth and answers in the Bible and to become excited to learn more on their own after the lesson is over. It is about them opening up the Bible and reading it for themselves. We deeply value the call to disciple others and encourage them in their own personal growth, knowledge of the Truth, and love of Jesus Christ. We do encourage people to think critically and honestly, to have an open mind about how faith and reason interact, and realize that both are necessary. Genuine questions are definitely welcome and encouraged. 

In your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect, (1Pe 3:15 ESV)

At Faith & Reason Ministries church, we do things a little different. If you wish to try us out or just see what we do and how we do it, all are welcome.
 
For those people who tell us they feel uncomfortable in a "normal church building", they are often delighted to learn we meet in a regular building for Sunday morning study and worship where we encourage open discussion and questions while enjoying good food together.
